Background
This product is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic recombinant analog of zilovertamab, an anti-ROR1 monoclonal antibody, supplied strictly for research use only. It is a full-length human IgG1-kappa built around the ROR1 target and is not the clinical drug; it is not intended for human or veterinary use. The molecule is useful as a target-specific tool for in-vitro and preclinical work: characterizing ROR1 binding on tumor cell lines, serving as a positive binding control in flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation, and ELISA, benchmarking novel anti-ROR1 candidates, and acting as a parental scaffold for ADC, bispecific, or CAR-related development programs. Because ROR1 is broadly expressed on many hematologic and solid malignancies but largely restricted on normal adult tissue, this analog supports studies of tumor-selective targeting. It is offered at research grade with low endotoxin (<1 EU/mg; ultra-low <0.5 EU/mg options), and available in bulk milligram-to-gram quantities suitable for repeated assays, in-vitro standards, and preclinical model work. Formulated for reproducibility across experiments.
ROR1 (receptor tyrosine kinase-like orphan receptor 1; UniProt Q01973) is a type I transmembrane receptor of the ROR family, with an extracellular region containing immunoglobulin-like, cysteine-rich Frizzled (CRD), and kringle domains, plus an intracellular pseudokinase-like domain. It functions primarily as a receptor for Wnt5a and modulates non-canonical Wnt signaling, influencing cell polarity, migration, survival, and proliferation. ROR1 is essential during embryonic and skeletal development but is largely silenced in normal postnatal tissues. It is re-expressed (oncofetal pattern) in numerous malignancies, including chronic lymphocytic leukemia, mantle cell lymphoma, and several solid tumors, where it can promote tumor-cell survival and stemness. This restricted, tumor-associated expression profile makes ROR1 an attractive target for antibody-, ADC-, and cell-based therapeutic strategies, and a useful subject for basic Wnt-signaling and tumor-biology research.
