Background
This product is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic recombinant analog of the anti-ILT7 antibody daxdilimab, built around the same human ILT7 (LILRA4/CD85g) target and supplied strictly for research use. It is a human IgG1 lambda molecule intended to reproduce the target-binding behavior of the originator so investigators can study plasmacytoid dendritic cell (pDC) biology and ILT7-directed depletion mechanisms in vitro. It is not the clinical drug and is not for human or veterinary use. Typical laboratory applications include ILT7 binding and blocking assays, use as a positive/reference control alongside isotype controls, ADCC/effector-function and antibody-dependent depletion studies of pDCs, and preclinical characterization work. The antibody is available in low-endotoxin research grade (<1 EU/mg) and ultra-low-endotoxin (<0.5 EU/mg) formats, and can be produced at bulk milligram-to-gram scale for larger screening campaigns, assay development, or in-vitro/ex-vivo functional studies. Because it is unconjugated, it can serve as a starting reagent for conjugation, labeling, or comparator panels. Guidance provided for ichorbio review. ILT7 (immunoglobulin-like transcript 7), encoded by LILRA4 and also called CD85g, is an immunoreceptor expressed almost exclusively on human plasmacytoid dendritic cells (pDCs). It is a cell-surface receptor of the leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor (LILR) family that pairs with the adaptor FcERI-gamma (FCER1G) to signal. Engagement of ILT7, for example by its ligand BST2/tetherin on target cells, delivers an inhibitory signal that down-regulates pDC production of type I interferons (IFN-alpha/IFN-beta) and TNF, acting as a negative regulator of TLR7 and TLR9 responses. Because pDCs and type I interferon are central drivers of several autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, ILT7 is studied both as a signaling checkpoint and as a surface marker enabling selective antibody-mediated targeting or depletion of pDCs. Its restricted expression makes it an attractive handle for pDC-directed research.
