Belatacept's molecular target, CTLA-4, is the inhibitory counterpart to CD28 in T-cell co-stimulation, a pathway studied extensively in transplantation and autoimmunity. This CTLA-4 Fc fusion protein is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic analog of belatacept, provided for research use only (RUO). Manufactured to in vivo standards with low endotoxin, it is available in scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) quantities for heavy-usage and high-throughput laboratories. It is useful in functional assays, co-stimulation-blockade and immune-suppression studies, defined controls, and in vivo transplant-tolerance models, delivering reproducible performance across the large datasets typical of immunology programmes.
