ALCAM/CD166 is a cell-adhesion molecule upregulated in many carcinomas and a target of interest for antibody-drug conjugates. This research-grade human IgG1 antibody is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic analog of praluzatamab vedotin, expressed in CHO cells against ALCAM/CD166. Released for research use only, it is purified to low endotoxin for in vivo compatibility and produced in scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) quantities for bulk, high-throughput laboratories. As the unconjugated backbone of a vedotin-class conjugate, it is well suited to ADC payload-linker development, internalization and functional binding assays, and preclinical tumor-targeting studies.

This biosimilar is stable when stored at 2-8°C. For longer term storage (> 3 months) it is recommended to store this antibody at -20°C or -70°C.

Functional Assays

Reconstitute with sterile, distilled water to a final concentration of 1 mg/ml. Gently shake to solubilize completely. Do not vortex.
