Background
Engineered with LALAPG Fc-silencing mutations and supplied in an extremely low-endotoxin format, this human IgG1 isotype control offers an effector-null, non-binding reference for human IgG1 experiments where Fc-mediated activity must be eliminated. It is validated for flow cytometry and functional assays, serving as a background, gating, and negative-control reagent. The antibody is suitable for in vivo use and produced in scalable milligram to gram quantities for bulk and high-throughput laboratories. As a non-therapeutic, research-use-only reagent, it provides reproducible, lot-consistent control performance for Fc-effector-independent studies and antibody-engineering pipelines.
Purification Method
This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.
Formulation
This monoclonal antibody is aseptically packaged and formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (150 mM NaCl) PBS pH 7.2 - 7.4 with no carrier protein, potassium, calcium or preservatives added.
Storage
This antibody is stable for at least one week when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at –80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
Applications
Flow Cytometry, Functional Assays
Application Notes
Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.
Use
Products are for research use only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
