Ganglioside GD3 is a sialic-acid-rich glycolipid enriched on melanoma and other neuroectodermal tumors, where it modulates adhesion and signaling and serves as a long-studied cancer antigen. This reagent is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic analog of mitumomab, a recombinant IgG2b kappa antibody recognizing GD3 in human samples and intended for research use only (RUO). Its low-endotoxin formulation makes it appropriate for in vivo studies, and it is produced in scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) quantities to sustain high-throughput, heavy-usage workflows. Applications include anti-glycolipid binding and functional assays, in vitro screening, and preclinical tumor models.

This biosimilar is stable when stored at 2-8°C. For longer term storage (> 3 months) it is recommended to store this antibody at -20°C or -70°C.
