This human IgG4 (S228P) isotype control with a kappa light chain offers a hinge-stabilised, subclass-matched negative reference for experiments employing IgG4-kappa test antibodies. The S228P substitution suppresses Fab-arm exchange, and the lack of relevant specificity allows the control to define background signal and gating limits in flow cytometry and functional assays. By reproducing the framework of the test antibody, it isolates scaffold effects from true target engagement. The reagent is low in endotoxin and suitable for in vivo use, and it is produced in scalable milligram to gram quantities for bulk and high-throughput research. Supplied for research use only.
