FcRn, the neonatal Fc receptor, recycles IgG and albumin in a pH-dependent manner and is a cornerstone of antibody half-life engineering. This biotinylated recombinant human FcRn heterodimer, produced in HEK 293 cells, is suited to streptavidin-capture SPR, BLI and ELISA assays where oriented immobilization improves the accuracy of pH-dependent IgG binding measurements. It is a non-therapeutic reagent for research use only, prepared to in vivo grade standards with ultra-low endotoxin. Available in scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) batches, it gives high-throughput and heavy-usage laboratories a consistent FcRn tool for pharmacokinetics and Fc optimization studies.

Human FCGRT-B2M, FcRn, FCGRT & B2M, Neonatal Fc receptor

The sequence of the extracellular domain of human FCGRT (Ala 24-Ser 297) was fused with a C-terminal tag consisting of the AVI tag, TEV protease recognition sequence and a 10-His tag. This was co-transfected with the sequence of human B2M (Ile 21-Met 119) and the resulting FcRn heterodimer was purified. The full protein sequences can be downloaded from the product webpage.

Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4. No preservatives or cryoprotectants have been added. To obtain a final concentration of 1 mg/ml reconstitute 0.25 mg vials with 0.25 ml water and 1.0 mg vials with 1.0 ml water.
