Background
Clone IB4 with the S228P hinge stabilisation is a human IgG4 isotype control supplied at extremely low endotoxin levels, making it a clean negative control for sensitive in vivo and functional immunology work. The S228P change prevents IgG4 Fab-arm exchange, while the absence of relevant specificity lets IB4 establish the background and gating reference that distinguishes genuine binding from scaffold signal in flow cytometry and functional assays. Control clone IB4 S228P is produced in scalable milligram to gram quantities and formulated for in vivo use. It is a research-use-only, non-therapeutic reagent suited to bulk and high-throughput laboratories.

This monoclonal antibody is aseptically packaged and formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (150 mM NaCl) PBS pH 7.2 - 7.4 with no carrier protein, potassium, calcium or preservatives added.
Storage
This antibody is stable for at least one week when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at –80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
