Storage
This antibody is stable for at least one week when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at -80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
Formulation
This monoclonal antibody is aseptically packaged and formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (150 mM NaCl) PBS pH 7.2 - 7.4 with no carrier protein, potassium, calcium or preservatives added.

Background
Clone IB4 bearing the S228P mutation is a human IgG4 isotype control in which the hinge is stabilised against Fab-arm exchange, yielding a robust subclass-matched negative reference. Because IB4 S228P carries no relevant specificity, it provides the background and gating baseline that separates genuine antigen engagement from scaffold-driven signal in flow cytometry and functional assays. The anti-IgG4 control clone IB4 is supplied in a low-endotoxin format suitable for in vivo use and manufactured in scalable milligram to gram quantities to serve bulk and high-throughput laboratories. This is a research-use-only, non-therapeutic reagent.
