Background
This mouse IgG1 isotype control is supplied at extremely low endotoxin levels, providing a subclass-matched negative reference well suited to sensitive in vivo and functional immunology studies. Because it carries no relevant target, it defines the background signal and gating thresholds needed to attribute measured effects to genuine antigen binding rather than the mouse IgG1 scaffold in flow cytometry and functional assays. The reagent is validated for in vivo use and produced in scalable milligram to gram quantities to support bulk and high-throughput laboratories. It is a non-therapeutic product intended for research use only.
Purification Method
This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.
Formulation
This monoclonal antibody is aseptically packaged and formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (150 mM NaCl) PBS pH 7.2 - 7.4 with no carrier protein, potassium, calcium or preservatives added.
Storage
This antibody is stable for at least one week when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at –80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
Applications
Flow Cytometry, Functional Assays
Application Notes
Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.
Use
Products are for research use only. Not for use in diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
