Central to allergic inflammation, mucus secretion and fibrosis, the type 2 cytokine interleukin-13 (IL-13) is a widely studied mediator in asthma and atopic-disease research. As an unconjugated, non-therapeutic analog of dectrekumab, this human IgG1-kappa recombinant antibody is supplied for research use only (RUO). It is an ultra-pure, low-endotoxin preparation built to in vivo standards and manufactured in scalable milligram-to-gram quantities for high-throughput laboratories. Researchers use it in functional and neutralization assays, cytokine-signaling studies, in vitro screening and preclinical type 2 inflammation models centered on IL-13.
