Rabies neutralization and post-exposure prophylaxis research centers on the rabies virus glycoprotein. This recombinant human IgG1 (lambda) antibody is an unconjugated, non-therapeutic analog of rafivirumab, expressed in CHO cells against rabies virus. Released for research use only, it is purified to a low-endotoxin standard appropriate for in vivo studies and produced in scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) quantities for high-throughput, heavy-usage laboratories. It functions as a defined reagent for virus-neutralization assays, viral-entry studies, functional characterization, and preclinical rabies models. Consistent lot-to-lot performance makes it dependable for repeated, large-scale experimentation.
