This mouse IgG1 isotype control bears the aglycosylating N297A mutation, which removes Fc glycan-dependent effector function, and is raised against hen egg lysozyme so it has no mammalian target. It functions as a matched negative control for setting background and gating in flow cytometry and functional assays, ensuring observed activity reflects specific binding rather than the scaffold or its Fc. The control is supplied low in endotoxin and suitable for in vivo use, and produced at scalable milligram to gram quantities to support bulk and high-throughput research. It is a non-therapeutic reagent intended for research use only.
