This human IgG4 (S228P) Fc-plus-hinge fragment with a kappa-associated framework comprises the hinge-stabilised constant region of human IgG4 without an antigen-binding site, providing a control reagent for Fc-focused studies and Fc-fusion work. The S228P substitution suppresses Fab-arm exchange, and the absence of a variable domain makes the fragment a clean negative reference for separating Fc effects from specific binding in functional and receptor-interaction assays. It is supplied low in endotoxin and suitable for in vivo use, and manufactured in scalable milligram to gram quantities for bulk and high-throughput laboratories. Research use only.
