Activin receptor type-2B (ACVR2B) transmits signals from myostatin and activins to regulate muscle mass and tissue homeostasis, a focus of muscle-biology and metabolic research. Provided as an unconjugated, non-therapeutic analog of bimagrumab, this human IgG1-lambda recombinant antibody is intended for research use only (RUO). It is supplied with low endotoxin to in vivo standards and manufactured in scalable milligram-to-gram quantities for heavy-usage, high-throughput laboratories. The antibody supports functional and receptor-blockade assays, myostatin-signaling studies, in vitro screening and preclinical muscle-wasting models examining ACVR2B activity.
