Background
Clone IB1 is a human IgG1 isotype control bearing the LALA (L234A/L235A) Fc mutations that silence FcγR engagement, making it a precise negative control for studies where effector function must be removed. Featuring the same IgG1 framework as many therapeutic-style test antibodies, IB1 LALA defines background binding and gating boundaries in flow cytometry and functional assays without contributing specific antigen recognition. Anti-IgG1 control clone IB1 is offered in a low-endotoxin formulation suitable for in vivo use and produced in scalable milligram to gram quantities to serve bulk and high-throughput laboratories. It is a research-use-only, non-therapeutic reagent.

Specificity
This Human IgG1 isotype control recombinant antibody has been tested against selected species' cells and tissues to assure minimal cross reactivity. Furthermore, this low endotoxin Human IgG1 antibody is suitable for in vivo applications and each lot is IMPACT I certified.
Purification Method
This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.
Formulation
This monoclonal antibody is aseptically packaged and formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (150 mM NaCl) PBS pH 7.2 - 7.4 with no carrier protein, potassium, calcium or preservatives added.
Storage
This antibody is stable for at least one week when stored sterile at 2-8°C. For long term storage aseptically aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at –80°C. Avoid Repeated Freeze Thaw Cycles.
Applications
Flow Cytometry, Functional Assays
Application Notes
Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.
Use
