Background
CD16a (FcγRIIIa) is the activating receptor behind NK-cell and macrophage ADCC, and a marmoset version aids effector-function research in this important non-human-primate model. This recombinant marmoset CD16a ectodomain, expressed in HEK 293 cells, is validated for SPR, BLI and ELISA and is well suited to cross-species Fc binding kinetics and ADCC-related characterization. The protein is non-therapeutic and for research use only, manufactured to in vivo grade with ultra-low endotoxin. With scalable milligram (mg) to gram (g) production, it equips high-throughput and bulk laboratories to study primate activating Fc receptor engagement reproducibly.

Specificity
The sequence of the extracellular domain of marmoset CD16a (Glu 21-Gln 207) was fused with a C-terminal tag consisting of the AVI tag, TEV protease recognition sequence and a 10-His tag.
Formulation
Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4. No preservatives or cryoprotectants have been added. To obtain a final concentration of 1 mg/ml reconstitute 0.25 mg vials with 0.25 ml water and 1.0 mg vials with 1.0 ml water.
Storage
Lyophilized proteins are stable at ambient temperature for at least 2 weeks. If the protein is not to be used immediately then the protein should be stored in lyophilized form at -20 °C for up 12 months. Once the protein has been reconstituted we recommen
Applications
