Bulk anti-CD80 In Vivo Antibody – Low Endotoxin (16-10A1)
ichorbio’s anti-CD80 In Vivo Antibody – Low Endotoxin (16-10A1) is manufactured in a cGMP compliant facility. ichorbio’s low endotoxin antibodies have half the endotoxin of comparable antibodies from our competitors at less than 1.0 EU/mg. If ichorbio’s low endotoxin antibodies are not low enough we also offer ultra low endotoxin antibodies which have even less endotoxin (<0.75EU/mg) at an even higher purity (98% versus 95%). ichorbio: the best antibodies for in vivo research.
ichorbio’s 16-10A1 in vivo antibody is available in the following bulk sizes:
1mg, 5mg, 25mg, 50mg and 100mg
ichorbio regularly manufactures multi-gram amounts of our anti-CD80 16-10A1 clone – please contact us for pricing.

Anti-CD80 In Vivo Antibody – Low Endotoxin (16-10A1) recognizes an epitope on Mouse CD80
This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.
Mouse CD80 is expressed on Activated B-Cells, Activated T-Cells, macrophages, and dendritic cells.
CD80 (B7-1) is a type I integral membrane protein related very closely to CD86 (B7-2). A main function of CD80 is the costimulation of T-cells through ligation of CD28 and CD152 (CTLA-4). T-cells activate with binding of CD28 to CD80 and binding of CD80 to CTLA-4 results in inhibition of T-cells. The clone 16-10A1 has the ability to block the costimulatory activity of CD80 while exhibiting no effect on the activity of CD86.

We use the IMPACT test generated by IDEXX Laboratories to guarantee our Ultra Low Endotoxin antibodies are pathogen free. Our hamster antibodies are tested for:
Pneumonia virus of mice
Kilham’s rat virus
Toolan’s H1 virus
Minute virus of mice
Theiler’s murine encephalomyelitis virus
This antibody is stable for at least 4 weeks when stored at 2-8°C. For long term storage, aliquot in working volumes without diluting and store at – 20°C or -80°C. Avoid repeated freeze thaw cycles.
Immunoprecipitation, Western Blot, Blocking, Flow Cytometry, IHC (Frozen)
Each investigator should determine their own optimal working dilution for specific applications.
